Tables and person lists
In-page links
Tables
The table now has two display width options: Fullwidth (default) or Textwidth and for larger tables, one will notice the addition of the sticky header upon scrolling for better usability.
One can also configure a total footer row to be displayed if all data in a column is numerical and also turn on sorting for the table if it makes sense for the table content. In addition, a caption field (which serves as a title for tables with respect to accessibility) has been added if relevant for the table. All information on the use of tables in AEM can be found in the protected pageAEM Manuallock.
Table at text width
Table at Fullwidth
The Person list component has two display options: Table or List with images. Images of ETH members will only show if they have shared their image in e-Addressen. Otherwise placeholder images will be displayed with the initials of the person.
The default configuration for the component displays the full list of persons on a webpage. If one has a large list of persons, there is an option to turn on an anchor navigation, where users can jump directly to list sections by alphabetical letter. If more than one list is used on a page, then anchor navigation should not be used as this can only be implemented for one list per webpage.
It is also now possible to override the title entered in the OrgDB for a list and enter your own title in the component dialogue's Title tab and also set the correct title size according to your page's structure.
